Morgan's 3!!

It's hard to believe that Morgan is three years old!
She has been such a blessing in our lives!
Such a sweet baby, energetic toddler, and now entering preschool age...
We enjoy her fun loving spirit and all her energy even when it is challenging at times.
She is growing into a sweet girl who is so smart and interested in learning. So much like her dad! but so loves to sing and dance like her mom.
we couldn't be happier that God has blessed us with her, and allowed us to raise her and enjoy her every day. (even those tough days)

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday, a day we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus as he concord sin and death for our sake.
Some times it is hard to reflect on this while enjoying the fun events of the day, but I am grateful for a God we can celebrate everyday of the year. One who is ALIVE! :)

ways we enjoyed and celebrated:

1. Morgan and the other kids at our church sang two songs.
Morgan spent most of the time walking back and forth between the two rows of kids where we couldn't see her. We got this picture while they practiced before church.

2. we took Morgan to the park after church for an Easter egg hunt some wonderful volunteers put together. It was a lot of fun. Especially watching all the kids go a little crazy running every which way searching for plastic eggs full of sugary goodness.

3. We made a Bunny cake.

4. We painted a few eggs with this really neat egg stamp kit that Ben's mom had given to Morgan. It was a lot of fun and not nearly as messy as food coloring.

5. Lastly Ben made a Yummy Ham dinner to share with our small group. I enjoyed the food so much I forgot to take any pictures.

A day full of family, fun, and fellowship with others.

Golden nights of sleep.

I count my blessings these days as I have two girls who sleep threw the night. Maya has recently moved from waking up frequently to sleeping from 10pm until 6am! it's a wonderful thing.
we then decided to try to put the girls in the same room. Morgan was thrilled! She is all excited to share her room with her baby sister. She even asks every night when she goes to bed if Maya's going to sleep in her room, and says, "please mom let Maya sleep in here, I'll be quiet."
The second morning after the girls started to share a room I woke up to this... Two happy girls in their beds (well crib and bed). They were happy and had slept all night long! I was so full of joy that morning! God has truly blessed us with good girls!

Ohio and Aviation Museum

Back from Texas for 2 days, why not pile back in the car and drive to Ohio?

Ben had a work trip to Dayton, OH and we have some good friends there, so I decided to go with.
The girls once again traveled very well. It was nice that it was a shorter trip though. Morgan has grown to love hotel rooms. I think it's because she is allowed to eat in bed and watch cartoons.
Funny thing happened it being April fools and all... While Ben was off at his meeting and I was having a fun day with the girls, I discovered Ben took the car with all the spare diapers in it.
All I had was a poopy baby and Morgan's pull up's. So Maya ended up wearing pullup's all day.
The day after Ben's meetings we spent with our good friends Chaz and Danielle at the Aviation museum. Morgan learned about propellers and Maya slept in her snuggly.

all in all another successful trip.
