Halloween 2012

We started the day off with a party at Morgan's school.  

Maya squeezed her way in to the central spot for story time. 

Morgan enjoyed some yummy treats!  Enough to spoil any chance for lunch. 

After school and a much needed nap we were off trick or treating.
Maya caught on to the idea really fast!  After each house she would run (and say "run, run, run") to the next house.  Morgan had a blast as well.  She coached Maya all along the way and made sure she didn't get left behind.

Morgan's 1/2 Birthday

Morgan so kindly reminded me that it was her half birthday!  

Crazy, that she is old enough to remember such things!  

She then reminded me that she "needs" a cup cake!  

SO... following tradition we went to Bennison's Bakery and got cup cakes! 

Hard to believe she is 4 1/2 all ready, but every parent says that about their kid no matter what age they are.  

I guess I just have to get use to the fact that you can't freeze time.  

Morgan picked out 3 cup cakes.  The flower for her, ghost for Maya, Chocolate for Mom, and dad got a donut (not pictured)
